Armed Robbers Invade Enugu State…Shot two dead, Shattered two others legs

DARKNESS and evil seems to have covered Enugu State as dare-devil armed robbers have now taken over major cities in this once-tourist town. Assorted kinds of weapons are now being used by these satanic messengers to maim, kill, extort; cause pandemonium and panic in virtually all the metropolis.
MTN Driver, Keke Napep operator killed…others wounded
Naija Standard investigation yesterday afternoon showed that four gun-wielding armed robbers invade the coal city early yesterday in a yellow taxi stormed Mbanugo Bus Stop after trailing a driver named ‘Praise, an employee of Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) and shot him on the chest at close range after dispossessing of him an undisclosed sum of money and unsold recharge cards inside his vehicle. On lookers ran helter-skelter as Praise’s blood spilled on the ground.
An eye witness account confirmed it by saying “The MTN driver was intercepted close to Mbanugo Bus Stop by the robbers, after which they opened a close range shooting at the driver which resulted in the driver’s death after which undisclosed amount of money and unsold MTN recharge cards were made away with.”
Our source in Enugu State said “I witness from Coal City, Enugu this afternoon says cold-blooded, dare-devil robbers have shot two persons dead while injuring two others sustained bullet shots in the leg. The dead were an MTN driver whole distributes or sells MTN recharge cards to its customers and a tricycle (also known as Keke Napep) driver.
The source added: “The Keke driver was not lucky as he stopped and started running but was hit
in the head by the armed robber’s stray bullet. Though the name of the MTN driver has not yet been revealed, the Keke driver was simply identified as Praise. The other two victims, who were said to have been shot in the leg, have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital.”
